Asian Bakery & Fast Food Reviews
10/10 Asian bakery spot with the best bahn mi in the area. The spot is small and there are always people hanging out outside, park on the street right in front for free and mind your business. Cash only!
Savory and delicious fast food. Ordered a meat steam bun, pad Kea Mao, BBQ beef banh mi, beef pho, Nam chow or spring rolls, mango sweet rice egg rolls, and spicy pork with wonton egg noodle soup . The prices were pleasantly affordable considering how much prices increased after covid.
Wow! That’s all I can say. It’s a bit hidden but this place is amazing. It’s a favorite for firemen in the area for good reason. Great flavor! Great value! Make sure to get the steamed bun and the chicken teriyaki sandwich spicy!
The quality for the price —you're basically stealing their food. This humble spot does top notch banh mi and cha gio. I recommend the regular banh mi for the most traditional flavor fest. Their baguettes are suuuuper crispy, but not in a I'm-gonna-cut-up-the-inside-of-your-mouth kind of way. Beneath the satisfying crunch is an equally satisfying pillowy soft bread, cradling all the optimal banh mi toppings along with plenty of delicious meat. I love a good banh mi. Amen.
Best cheap restaurant in providence. Cash only but I love that the savings are passed on to the customer. idk where I could get a sandwich for just 7
Ok this place is my official favorite. Summer rolls with shrimps are so so fresh and good. I can feel the water where the shrimps used to swim in. Banh mi just phenomenal and packed with meat. Reasonable price. LOVE IT. Cash only though folks!!
I wish I knew about this place sooner because the food is so good. Very affordable with friendly and quick service. Got a regular sandwich and egg rolls that only cost 11. Egg rolls were very crispy and the sandwich was delicious. I doubt you will find better food for the value anywhere in Providence.
Tasty sandwiches with amazing value! I got the mixed bahn mi which had their regular ham and BBQ beef. (7.50). The sandwich was much larger than I thought, it was probably almost a foot. The ham of nice flavor and so did the beef, which was tender. I really loved the sauce/aïoli they put in it and the bread was fantastic as well. It was 90 in RI the day I got it, but the sandwich almost had a cooling effect from the vegetables and nice sauce. Friendly staff and great prices. I gotta get their pad Thai soon!
